Airport Operations

The Ogdensburg International Airport (OGS) offers daily commercial air service to travelers flying into and out of northern New York, and southeastern Ontario, Canada. The airport is just one hour from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, making it ideal for travelers from SE Ontario who want air service from a nearby U.S. airport.  The airport is also conveniently situated in the center of St. Lawrence County, providing quick and easy access to the County's major urban areas of Canton, Massena, Potsdam and Gouverneur.

Commercial air service is provided by Allegiant Air and Cape Air. OGS also hosts a wide range of general aviation activity.

Runway Specifications

Ogdensburg International Airport’s airfield system consists of Runway 9-27 and three taxiways.

Runway 9-27 is 6,400 feet (including parallel taxiway) in length by 150 ft. wide with 6,000 feet of useable runway. The electronic navigation aids at OGS include a localizer (LOC), Global Positioning System (GPS), and an Automated Weather Observing System (AWOS). The visual aids to navigation at OGS are precision approach path indicators (PAPI), medium approach lighting system (MALS), threshold lights, wind cones, and a rotating beacon.

The airport has a state of the art above ground storage Fuel Facility with 10,000 gallons of Jet A fuel capacity and 10,000-gallon AV gas 100LL. 
Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting services are provided by trained airport personnel. This service is available whenever there are commercial aircraft operations schedule.

Pilot information

OGS can accommodate a number of small to medium-sized jet aircraft and turboprops. This includes: Cessna Citation II and Sovereign; Lear 35, 45 & 60; Gulfstream G150; Challenger 300, 601 & 604; and, Global 500.

OGS welcomes private flyers to use airport facilities. The FBO offers full-service jet fueling with Jet A and 100 Low Lead aviation fuel offered at competitive prices. Individual T-hangars are available for lease.

The Airport Manager’s office is located within the passenger terminal. Our goal is to provide and promote the highest quality of aviation services to our customers. These customers include air passengers, airport tenants, the general aviation community, and the greater public.
