Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge
Operated by the Ogdensburg Bridge & Port Authority, the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge is a 1.5-mile-long (2.4-km) suspension bridge that links Ogdensburg, New York, to Prescott, Ontario, Canada. The bridge was completed in 1960 and is the newest bridge crossing over the St. Lawrence River and St. Lawrence Seaway System.
For Canadians traveling from the Montreal-Cornwall-Kingston corridor on Highway 401 or from the Ottawa and Gatineau regions on Highway 416, you’ll appreciate the easy and convenient travel experience—from the short commute to the border and across the bridge, to the shorter line-ups and wait times at the airport.
On the American side, the bridge connects to New York State Route 37 and is just 40 minutes away from Interstate 81.
